‘It is a film about instinct,

about moments of pure life,

about expelling dreamt images onto quickly shot images,

about trying to un puzzle an over-floating irruption of things to say, and things to ask.

It is a film about roots, about history, about understanding one’s identity.

It is a film that couldn't never be written in advance, it is a film that had to be lived, there, in the fields of Cameroon,

on the grave on a grandmother, through the telling of a sister, and through the eyes of young cousins.

It is a film that took months, years, to be even possibly done, but only moments to be captured.

It is a film that had to be as hectic as the woman that was trying to find herself, and as unthought as the friend that came along to see.
It is a film that will carry the memory of the dead, the laugh of the new-born,

and the still unresolved questions of a mixed-raced artist who is begging for a revealed story.

It is a film about emotions, about discoveries, about time, and specially, about the things that never could be said’
