my practice metamorphose into a spatial 'Cinematic Body-Language'.
The camera is the eye that give perception,
The montage is the cell that give it a shape,
The editing process is the circulatory system that give it a pulse,
The Screen is the skin which gives it a sensory interface with the outside world,
and finally the nervous system wires the consciousness of the flm itself.
THE CYCLE OF LIFE
Fine Art video (8.17m) 2020.
'The Cycle of Life' (2020) make allusion to the skin of the earth in interface with hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. Behind it's own biological Matrix, the earth-core had been polluted by a bacteria during the germination of the seed of life. Inspired by the bio-anatomical world process, the film dissect seven phases that reflect the cycle of life. From birth to death, the macroscopic vision observe the ovulation of a seed, the formation of a larves inside a cocoon, the development of an embryo, the reoccurrence stage within a golden beehive, and finally the metamorphic journey of a butterfly, flying to death.
THE ORIGINE OF THE BLACK SAPE

The ‘Origine of the black Sape’(2020) is an allusion to the spirit of mother nature meeting the shimmering white deer-tronc of the forest, hovering between the above and below, bridging the earthly and heavenly, the suffering and the delight. Through the void of this darkest place, body danse ancestral celebration of Birth and Morning, death and resurrection.

HYSTERIA
Short experimental video, 4min
Filmed in the reflective lenses of an «Hysterical» character, «Hysteria» is a short video of 4.33 min that respond to freud’s perception. In A study about hysteria and Neurosis, psychosis and perversion, Freud digs into the psychos and the physical impacts of what he calls a sickness. From the Oedipus complex to the male idealization and sexual frustrations this collaborative experimental video revisited his theory with a nowadays woman point of view.
LE JE D'ECHEC

Le Je d'échec is a psycho-dramatic film about being, time, and acceptation. A woman is trapping herself within thoughts, in a constant fight between accepting the essence of being or being caught in-between her attachment to the past and her oppression of the future. In the theatre of life, she discovers acceptance on the stages she creates, where being rhymes with acting, the only place where pretending is not hidden but embraced. A presence follows her on this journey, a metaphor of her revelations, that she sees only when she is at the closest to herself: in the spotlight of her projections.

'Dave Baby' 2020 is a 16mm Color film From the series of ‘The Collector’s Corner’ by Filmmaker Camille Roded. Showcasing the inner private worlds of various types of collectors and their relationship to their objects, revealing life stories through the objects and environments they inhabit.

'Chrysalis' play on the direct participatory relationship between filmmaker and performer, through a macroscopic observation of a floating body; free of perspective and in an embryonic state reminiscing of the struggle of confinement.

'Umbilical Roots' 2020 is a short video documentation of a series of bodily performances at Gazelli Art House. These pieces explore themes of feminine identity, spirituality and rituals to reenact the divine cycle of creation and chaos. As a celebration of rebirth and symbol of a new beginning in response to our biological and cultural climate crisis, this body of work is a call for freedom and unification, a need of reconnection between the roots of our land and our DNA.
